Head Formation
My 3 month old daughter was born with a flat in the back & wide on the sides head. Any help for this?

Did you ask the doctor? If she was born like that, and it hasn't changed then the doctor might be able to recommend something, if it is something that happened over time because of back sleeping, they tell you to change the position of her head while she sleeps, turning it left of right. Make sure she has tummy time too and is not always on her back. It is hard for them to support themselves at that age, so roll a towel and put it under her arms and only do it when you are watching her.

My 3 month old sons head is shaped quite oddly, but i was just hoping that through time, and as he became more able to hold his own head and sit, that it would round out on its own. Is this true?

If it is because of back sleeping, then no, that is why they tell you to change the position of the childs headtilted to left or right when they sleep. In severe cases they have a helmet, but you need to ask your doctor.

Hi Jessica,
This discussion has recently come up in this group. Check the older posts for a title that is "Flat Head?” I hope that some of the replies can help you.
