Hi everyone -
I just wanted to share (if you don't already know about this particular program) that I have found an awesome Christian home schooling curriculum for preschoolers. It's called Cait's Curriculum and it's geared for 2 - 5 year olds.
It comes on a CD Rom and has lots and lots of worksheets, activities, games, flash cards, devotional/character study, teacher's aid and teacher's guide and a whole lot more. It even has a virtual safari. You just print out the worksheets as you need them. It was so worth the price of $69.95.

I just started today with my daughter Camie who is 2 and she did really great! She got a Good Job Award Certificate and gave her 3 gold stars for her first official day at school! :)

Hello.
How did you know that home schooling was for you and your family? My daughter is going to start preschool in the fall and I just want to make sure that I do the correct thing for her. She is a real social butterfly and I don't want to ruin that. I guess most of all I need to pray about it but I was just wondering how did you know?

I started home schooling Camie since I'm a SAHM and we are both home anyway I figured I would get a jump start on preschool. She just turned 2 in Jan. We haven't started taking her to pre-school yet. She does have some interaction with other little ones when we take her to church with us and we drop her off in her class there. As well as on Sunday nights (again at church.) Eventually, I would like to take her a couple of times a week to pre-school just so she can have that interaction more often. But for now I'm just loving our time together. You see we just brought our daughter home from China 9 mos ago. :)

Thanks , I'll look into it.
And also we'll be homeschooling next school year. I have an 8 year old and will be a 3 year old by Sept. Both girls, and i'm really excited about it. Of course it's scary if you have not done your homework and educated yourself about the whole idea of homeschooling. I started researching and reading about it since last year. And definitely it's something we are comfortable doing. I picked this particular private school because , for one i live in California and as i read through what they have to offer, i was convinced from the very beginning even after seeing so many different ISPs (Independent Study Program) out there.
So anyway, i'm just glad to know that you're homeschooling , and for those who are thinking about it, all i have to say is that
It's Worth It.

Thank you so much for sharing Cathy. Just over the last couple weeks we have decided to start homeschooling my 3 year old daughter. I have been looking for different programs out there that we can use. So this is very helpful!
