Stay at Home Moms
Public online group

Hi All!!
Hi all, I'm new to the group and wanted to introduce myself. I am a 22 year old new mom with a three and a half month old son. My husband works and I stay home with our son.
Don't get me wrong...I love being able to be here for his every new whim, but I really really miss the adult interaction and intelligent, TWO WAY conversations. How do you guys cope with the missing social time?

Hey Tessa, I'm a 23 y/o stay at home mom as well. I agree it can get lonely sometimes when all you do is have one-way conversations in baby talk and sing nursery rhymes all day. My daughter is only 6 months old so I haven't really found the cure to the missing social life yet, but what really helps me is to just get out of the house. Kailtin (my daughter) and I will go on a walk or go shopping or something. Just the fresh air and exercise helps ease the blues. I joined this group just yesterday to see if I could get some advice about the same problem. Or just some adult interaction. Best wishes.
