I've been taking my daughter for a few months now and she likes it. It's interactive with songs and cute, short little stories. I have to confess that ever since she became mobile, she likes playing with the other kids before and after story time more than she likes the actual stories. What can I say? She's 17 months old.
Also, the New York State Zoo at Thompson Park in Watertown (http://www.nyszoo.org) has several programs, including one free "Wild About Reading" program the third Saturday of the month (only through March as far as the website says). They read a story and bring out one of their education animals for the kids to see.
This is perfect, this is just what we need! Thanks for bringing that up! I have yet to find something fun for my son to do in the cold weather! He's 2 and can't stay still for long!
