| Hi, I am a new mommy and my daughter is 4 weeks old. She has been feeding fine, but lately I worry that she is not getting enough, my breasts arent as sore as they were and they feel deflated all of the time. Now when she feeds, she goes for both sides and sometimes still acts like shes hungry, does this mean I am not producing enough anymore? |

| That happens to your breasts at about the 4 wk point. They prob won't leak as much either. She's probably going for both sides because she's going through a growth spurt. As long as she's gaining weight don't worry! I know my Dr is great about if you give them a call and pop in just to have the baby weighed every once in a while. You should have your 1 mth appt soon anyway right? |

| I agree, as long as she's gaining weight you are fine. Sometimes they just want to keep sucking afterward so, if you are alright with it, give her a pacifier and it should fulfill that need to suck they all have. |

| Thanks for the info.... I guess I am just paranoid. My baby doesnt have a 1 month check up, she had a 1 week and then scheduled for a 2 month. My doctor has a breast feeding class that is offered once a week where they can weigh her, so I will do that on Thursday just to make sure. Thank you sooooo much. |

| i have a 7 week old and i notice myboobs are much more softer. its just because they are most likely eating more and your not getting engorged. as long as your baby is wetting and having poopy diapers, your baby is fine. |

| I am sure you are producing enough, but just to make sure try to supplement with formula...I had the same issue, but I was told that as babies grow they requiere more milk and our bodies take about 24hrs to catch up with the supply. I use to make 2oz of milk sometimes he would just drink one. |
