I think it's funny

That so many people think sending their child off to some stranger to be taught for a year is the best thing to do. How weird. And not only that, but a lot of people I talk to (not all, but most) think that I am going to hold my daughter back socially. I think having to sit in a classroom, forced to learn and not socialize with peers except for short lunch and recess breaks is socially lacking. But that is just difference of opinions I guess. = )
