Were fairly new to Jacksonville we are living in the mandein area near 295 and im ooking for a Park that wouldbe faily close to that Id like to be able to walk to it but thats not necessary im really not shure how to find one iv never lived in a big city before the town i came from wasent big enough to have more than the one park lol. Any suggestions would be great. Me and my Daughter are getting sick of walking around and around our apartment complex we need something new that doesent cost us anything. thanks a bunch

| do you live by old st. augustine road or san jose side......over by old. st. augustine road you have losco park.....which is a really nice park for walking......also you have barnett park wich is great for playinng and then on san jose out before the bridge to julington creek there is a park on the right cant remember the name of it........and im sure there are some others that im forgetting |

| we are off of old st augustine so there is a park off of losco rd me and DD walked up losco quite a while the other day but dident run into a park at least i dident see one we probably turned back just before we got to it. do you know about how far up it is from Old St augutine. mabie if its not too far up we could walk to it and play for a while. this is horable iv lived hear just over a year and i still cant find anything around hear lol. thanks for the help DD will love getting to go to a park |

| My sister is building a house there near Clark's fish camp. I'll ask her if she knows any places. I also have a few other friends around there i can ask too. |

| thanks for the help i have no idea where clarks fish camp is but it sounds fun lol. im always looking for something to do would you happen to know any places that offer scrapbooking classes or something simular thats cheep i need help getting started with my Daughters scrapbook iv got a bunch of stuff and no idea what to do with it. scrapbooking wasent as easy for me as i thought it would be i have a hard time comming up with ideas mabie its just tired mommy brain lol thanks a bunch |

| its quite a ways down losco......its that streach that connects losco to hood after the elbow......its on the right hand side.....it might be too far to walk though..but its a really nice one i have taken my kids there once or twice |

| i think mabie well drive up there and check it out dh has tonight off and decide if its too far to walk. at least iv got a place to try out. thanks a bunch |

| thanks for the park recomendation its too far for us to walk to but its not that far to drive to. its a nice park DD loved the swing and going down the slide with me.my nieces will be so thrilled when she comes to visite in june last time they were hear i dident know where any parks were at. and they wanted to go to one so bad. |
