Digital Photography/Photoshop anyone??
Hi Everyone,
I'm new to this group! I recently got a full time job after recently being a full time stay at home mom. I also teach 2 nights a week (Photography and Photoshop) at Henry Ford Community College. I just wanted to offer if anyone needed help at all to just ask..I have over 20 years of teaching and professional experience as a photographer.

This is what I tell all of my students:

"When you create an image...you are allowing others to see your creative vsion through your eyes only" also..." Show the world what you see".

"Be creative.....go out on a limb for a great shot and have fun while you do it!"

Hope to help someone out there...

Enjoy your time with your little ones...I can't believe how quickly my daughter has grown!

:)

Welcome to the group Lisa!

It's my personal opinion that Adobe Photoshop is the best software written EVER! I don't think I ever close the program. The first version I bought was 3.0.! Layers were brand a brand new thing then. It's been great to grow with the program over the years.

Hi Lisa! I am new to photography. I am trying to read as many books as I can on it. I seem to be grasping Photoshop CS3 quite easily via reading, but not the concept of photography.
Here is my question: I have been trying to use the manual mode on my camera. But my Fstop only goes from 2.8-11. Is this normal? Is this a good range? I seem to not be able to blur the background as much as I want.
Also, I am trying not to use the flash - but my camera always has blurry pictures. I really try to keep still, but to no avail. Any help there? Here is my blog of photography and digital scrapbooking if you are interested. http://allthingsriley.wordpress.com/
