New to the group: how do I fit everything in?
Hi,
My name is Alison; I have an 8-month old son, Benjamin. Do any of you have suggestions on how to cater to all of my son's needs and still get work done (I'm running a business from home)?
Thanks in advance,
Alison

It depends on how much time you need to put in, and how flexible it is.
I work from home and I do about 90% of that while my baby sleeps (if she's awake, my hubby is on baby detail till I get done).
It breaks down like this: I get in 2 hrs in the morning before she wakes. If there is more work, I get in an hour with each of her 2 naps, and/or 1-2 hours after she goes to bed at night.
Every day is not 6 hours, those are just the available windows of time I have to work with. Some days I work 2 hours only, some days it's 6 (those are the days my hubby helps me alot with housework and the baby).
I aim for 90-95% of my work to be done while she's sleeping so that I can tend to her needs. But it does help alot that my husband pitches in.
I do put in 6 hours per week at the office, and for that we have someone we trust to watch her.
I'm not sure if this helps give you ideas, but it's how we do it.
