Daycare Centers
I will be going back to work in a couple of weeks and I work retail so my hours vary from early (8am) to late (10pm). Anyone know of any daycare centers in Spring, TX 77373 that will take infants for these hours? Also, I have looked into Au Pair services but they will not take an infant until they are atleast 3 months old. I need advice or experiences that other moms have had with an Au Pair service.

Thanks,
Aimee

I live in Michigan but when I was looking for child care I went to our states website and looked there. I went to the Texas State website, typed child care in the search and it will take you to a link where you can search for child care in your area. I also work weird hours, 12 hour days. I found an in home daycare that works great for us. Lucky for me my parents and husbands parents are around to help with picking our daughter up. Good luck, I know it can be hard to leave your child with someone.

I'm not in texas, but I also recommend an in home daycare. My husband and I LOVE our daycare provider. We live in IL and we went on an IL site for child care providers (which provided a list of day care's and in home day care's). It was a lot of interviewing to find the right person, but for us anyway, it was well worth it. I love how comfortable I feel leaving my son with her. It is a smaller group so I know he gets the attention and care he needs. I found when I interviewed different people that they all seamed to follow a regular daycare center's schedule and guidelines. The fact that you will need someone to watch your little one late in the evening may be harder for you to find, but I'm sure you'll find someone! Just be prepared for it to be somewhat of a long process. Good Luck!!!

Thank you for advising to go to the state website - I didn't even think about that. I'm getting ready to go back to work part time - 3rd shift, so I'm contemplating daycare, hafl day, so I'll still be able to get some sleep, depending on the cost. I just checked out the Florida state site, and it had a lot of information I was looking for!
