Welcome. I am glad you have decided to join us. I commend you for being a military wife. I can only imagine how it feels to be on the other end of deployments, and training. I use to do that job full time myself in the Marine Corps. So I know it has to be stressful on you and your family. Anyway I hope that you will utilize both of your rambuncious children as a way to help get you in shape. I am looking forward to this spring and summer as my daughter is able to walk and run this year and I am sure we will be outside as much as the weather permits. Again I welcome you to the group and hope to hear great things from you. |

Thank you! My husband doesn't always acknowledge that i'm ALSO going through a rough time here. My daughter will be walking soon as well, but we live in an apartment so it's a little harder to get outside. The park isn't very close, @ least not in walking distance. But when we move, I hope to move somewhere with a playground on the premises. I started dieting when my husband left for bt back in late september & have lost a total of 20lbs. But my body won't seem to let me go any further & i KNOW the weight that i'm now ISN'T healthy for me, even though i'm 20 lbs lighter. My diet is basically cut calories, cut fat, cut ANYTHING with high fructose corn syrup, & do MORE housework. Housework helps you burn fat, like doing the laundry, putting it away, picking up after people & seems to be helping. I just wish i could get my stubborn body to get with the program. I have some ybb tapes & the red exerciser, but with the baby more mobile now & every time she takes a nap i do too cuz she won't let me sleep @ night, it's hard to find time to actually EXERCISE. |
