My little one will be 10 months next week and I think soon he'll be crawling. I was so excited today because he finally tucked his legs under by himself and started rocking. He got so excited and then he flopped his legs out and looked like a fish out of water. Well, I think he's moving in the right direction. Now all he needs to figure out is how to move his arms! |

Sadie is 8 months, but she would rather walk than crawl these days. she just wants to take a hold of your fingers and stand or sway back and forth. I actyally caught her climbing or pulling herself up on our couch! I nearly had a heart attack. She seems to be very steady with her movements. I sometimes wonder if she is ever going to crawl or just skip right to the walking. It's so exciting and nerve racking at the same time. I love watching her grow and discover new things, but it reminds me that one day she won't be my little baby anymore... |

Our little one seems to be interested in walking too, she is almost 7 months, and will hold onto our hands while standing up and try to take a step! I wonder if she will ever crawl, as she seems to want to skip that step and go straight to walking! Of course, she wants to do everything she sees her older sis do, so I'm not surprised. ;) |

I am wondering how long to crawling too. I have a 5 month old and he scoots, rolls and spins all over the floor. He loves to stand and wobble back and forth and seems to enjoy this more than being on the floor with his butt in the air. It is great watching them grow and from the looks of it every baby is different in what they prefer. I guess we keep watching and see what happens since we cant really predict or control this one. Happy mommying! |
