San Antonio Parents
Public group from San Antonio, TX

Totally new to this
I am single father that is a bit abrehesive about joining a group because I feel that single dads tend to be somewhat outcast.
I can understand that some guys have probably screwed it up for most guys but I am just looking to raise my daughter in the best possible way and ensure that she is a strong confident woman like her mother was.

I am not on here looking for hook ups so please consider the fact that I am only on here in the best interest of my daughter.
Her mother died two years ago on the 4th of January so I only seek advice and care to share thoughts and stories with other parents.
I do wish there was a single father's group in san antonio and maybe I will start one if I see that this site is worth being on.
Anyway thanks for showing an interest

Hi robert! I'm new too. Just joined like yesterday. I think its great that you are looking into doing what is best for your little girl. Having a good daddy is SOOO monumental to a girl's development. I had a great one and see the diferences in my life to those who had less than stellar male role models. Glad you are trying your best!

I am also new, just moved recently from out of state. My girl is three and I only have the one. I am married and just curious about getting some play dates and such going. My girl is a social animal...kinda different from me....but i want to be sure she gets what she needs. She isn't in daycare/school yet as she JUST turned three. I have been working from home while she's been growing up...so far its worked well.

Hoping to meet some ppl here as well.

How old is your girl?

First and foremost thanks for your kind words.second welcome to the san antonio area.
I love this city and all the culture and the nice people but then again I was born and raised here so I am a little biased. But San Antonio doesnt need me to toot it's horn it pretty much speaks for itself.
I live in the north Central area north of Downtown and I love my neighborhood.
If you or anyone have any questions reagrdong San Antonio please ask me.

Hello Robert and Cristina!
I'm quite new to group also - and have lived in San Antonio for a couple of years. I'm an Australian, who fell in love with an American - he refused to move to Oz so here I am.

I just can not seem to get used to driving on RHS of road, so I don't get out too much - and Mapquest often leaves me completely lost!!

My girl also loves to socialize - at 10mths, she's a good bit younger than your girls though.... I too am looking for a playgroup.
