New to the area

My husband (from Macon originally) and I just relocated to Athens area. I am from New England (Boston) - I do not know the area at all. I would like to get together with local moms who have kids around my daughters age (22 months) I am looking for kid friendly parks & mothers that would also be interested in walking for exercise with their child.

Welcome to Athens! Some great parks are: Memorial Park off of Gran Ellen Drive, World of Wonder on the east side of Athens and Bishop park. Hope that helps.
