I sure do!! I have two children both were breastfed and one still is....I breastfed my son till he weened himself at 16 months. I was pregnant at the time and knew we had to quit soon, so he was down to his nighttime feeding only. My daughter is 4 months old and going strong. It is hard finding support about this with other moms because everyone I know bottlefed at some point. |

Ewwww...bottles are naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaasty ;-) I breastfeed my 3yo and my 10mo, with no sign of either losing interest anytime soon. Neither has ever had formula in their life!!!!!! |

My son is going to be 13 and I breastfed him till he was 11 months the only reason I had to quit is because I got a kidney infection that had me in the hospital for 5 days so he had to go to regular milk. Straight to a cup though never had a bottle. Now my daughter is 4 months and starting the 3rd week I was not producing enough milk and she wanted to eat every hour so I had to supplement and I was very sad cause I felt like a worthless mother. I was told by a lady that drinking a beer or 2 a week with dinner will help with my milk (she was foreign and they use this custom) so I tried it. Now she hates formula and I am producing just fine. I hate beer so I only drank like 3 ever but maybe it did help cause I was also being positive, and not depressed. Maybe that was also a factor because I did go through a bit of PPD. It was scary but my husband was a lot of help. I am just happy that she is back to breast feeding and all is going well :) |

I heard of the tea and a nurse told me about it.... maybe it is mind over matter I think the beer worked but maybe I wanted it to so I started producing.... it's possible. Sometimes your body can only go so long. I hope you reach your goal. I am hoping for 11 months to a year. |

alot of people are talking about their milk supply diminishing...the only time that has happened to me with both my kids is when they have slacked off. example..teething..sickness,etc..It is supply and demand for me. If I notice my breast are slacking a little then I use my pump, to get them going again. |

In my experience, a lot of times it feels to the mom like it is slacking off, but the baby or babies doesn't think it is. I think maybe the breasts just get used to doing their thing so we don't notice it as much, but the girls are still doing their job. I've found that is a nice thing about EBF--I can get progress reports on how the boobs are functioning. Of course, some of the reports--like that the nummies taste like rainbows--are a little suspect in their accuracy LOL, but quantity is something I'm confident I get accurate reports on, since he does complain when there isn't any in there. |

Oh yeah, I've heard of that tea. A lot of women I've heard from love it. I work at a health food store that sells it so I hear a lot of people's comments on it. Some find that as soon as they have some, their milk lets down and they need to get a baby attached right away or they'll start squirting. Some find that it takes a little longer, but I've never heard of not working for anyone actually. |

I am so excited that I found you guys! I am going to go get some of that tea today. My 19lb. 5 month old isn't lacking in the milk department, eating every 2 hours day and night, but I don't have enough to pump. My husband would love to be able to feed him more, and I need extra milk to mix with his rice cereal. Not to mention, it would be nice to have some milk in the freezer. |
