Hi ladies. My name is Valerie and I have four children ages 9, 6, 5 and 3. Two boys and two girls. My five year old, Grace, has been diagnosed with PDD (Pervasive Developmental Disorder), which is on the autism spectrum. She is in a preschool class for special children. My 9 year old is in 3rd grade, my 6 year old is in kindergarten and my just turned 3 year old is home with me, he'll go to preschool in September. We live in PA and thought I might connect with other moms either online or in the area.
Hope you are all well.

Hi Lauren. Thanks for the welcome. We do pretty good on routines. That being said, there are times when we falter...if there's something different going on such as a evening birthday party or a family get-together, something like that. That's for the evening. During the day the routine is a little more relaxed. Grace is 5 and really needs a routine. She is diagnosed with PDD, an Autism spectrum disorder. She has school three days a week and we do therapy the other two days. My concern is that now I need to find some special time to be with my 9 year old. |
