I really would like my kids to be able to have separate playdates just because I feel they should develop their friendships without the constant presence of the other. I don't know how in practical terms I will be able to do that. Anyone has done it or thought about it?

I believe my children will truly form their different friendships in school. Right now I am happy getting out with the two of them and letting them interact together and with other children. |

My issue is that one of the twin is very outgoing and easy to start interacting with other kids, and the other needs more time and space. So if they have social interaction always together the outgoing one is always going to take the all space and it would difficult for the other to create relationship.

I've never thought about separate playdates for my twins. I can't even imagine how I would accomplish that! It's hard enough to get out with the two of them. I agree with Kim about how they will probably form different friendships in school, especially if they're put in different classes. |
