Man - where do I even begin. I was telling the drs there towards the end that I just wasn't feeling the movements much. Of course, I got the spill about so many times a day was fine - blah blah blah. At my normal 34 week visit, same story - and it went downhill from there. Straight to the hospital, and after 5-6 hours - we were finally told things weren't looking good on the inside and they could take better care of him on the outside. Hearing the stories of their lungs developing in the late stages had us freaked beyond our wildest imagination. Within 24 hours of that visit, Caleb was born at 2 lbs 7 oz and breathing on his own. Don't get me wrong, we had our normal ups and downs in the NICU but Gods hands were on him the whole time. He was in there 4 weeks before coming home weighing a whopping 3 lbs 9 oz. The preemie clothes were even to big. Today he is a normal 3 1/2 year old. Still a little tiny but so was his dad. We've had a couple of episodes with him but life has been so fulfilling! Just so thankful to be able to stay home with him to see each milestone of his little miracle life!
