Hi Debbie Welcome to this group. Im laura also from Jersey .IM 35 about too be 36 and just a few months ago took the leap and descided to try for #2 .....I must say I was sooooooo afraid because i always feel Im too old. That is why I formed this group too get advise from moms like u who have done it. Where u afraid at all to be over 35 Thxs laura

At first I wasn't afraid of anything...I was just so thrilled to be pregnant because it was thought that I couldn't have kids. Of course, being 35, there's the testing for being "advanced maternal age". Well, that's enough to make you feel like you are old! My first downs test came back positive, but they had the date wrong. The second one came back normal. But that's when I really started to worry about being pregnant at this age. It is a little hard having my first one at this age, because most of my baby's friends parents will be younger then us. I don't want to be an old shoe. I had the youngest parents growing up...some of my friends had older parents and they were boring. That's my only concern...want to stay young at heart for my girl! LOL.
