preteen help
My daughter is 12 and I think she has a very good head on her shoulders. My fiacee is very concerned about her because she is very pretty and popular. She wants to stay at freinds often and I know these friends. Growing up I also had a best friend and either I was at her house or she was at mine. I think my daughter has a good head on her shoulders, but I do know we need to have a serious talk, is there any advice you can give me on how to go about it. We do talk but I really want her to understand just how easy it is to get into a situation she isn't ready for.

Tell her about the birds and the bees if you havent already. Tell her about your experiences ,be honest, when you were her age and if you got into trouble or exactly what trouble you are worried about.I think shell think about it and love you more for sharing.

I agree be honest with her, and allow her to open up to you. I wish my parents would have talked to me more than what they did.
