Hello. I have a 6 mths old beautiful boy. He is a very good baby. But lately he seems to get fussy at night when daddy comes home from work. I try to pass him to daddy while I get dinner on the table or clean up but he seems to want mommies attention instead of daddy's. Even to put him down to sleep he will only go down with me. Any sugguestions? Thank you in advance. |

Jenaya, My son was the same way at that age (and sometimes still is) my question to you is this: is dad home with him more or are you? If your son is used to you being around and then of a sudden dad is home it is a change to him. At this age they do not deal well with change and react by getting fussy. All I can suggest is to allow your hubby to be with DS more and try putting him to bed (beginning on the weekends so that if he gets fussy and continously cries it is a little more manageble). It is a phase and as your son gets older he will learn that dad is "ok" too. My DS still prefers I put him to bed, but I don't mind. :) I hope this helps. |

Our boy went through the same exact thing... would SCREAM his head off if daddy held him. Well, now that he's 14 months, it's Daddy Daddy Daddy! He can't wait to run to him when Daddy gets home. So, it's one of many phases you'll be enjoying. |

Well, enjoy it while it lasts! I know sometimes it can be a bit much when all your baby wants is Mama Mama Mama, but you'll miss these days when he's 16 and embarassed to be seen with his Mom who is so not cool. Haha! Seriously though, my son went through that at 6 months, then again at 16 months. Very normal stuff. :) |

My son did that, but it passed. He is just used to mommy, that is all, nothing against dad. Now that my son is 3, even though he loves dad, he is still a mommy's boy. If I am not home, he is fine with dad, but if I am home, it is as if dad doesn't exist. |
