Hi, new to the group...and I'm glad I found it!
Boy, at the end of the day, I'm really wiped out! But then I have to go online and work. I work from home as a medical transcriptionist for a nationwide company and do the majority of my work at night when my daughter, Danielle, is asleep (she's 2).

Danielle is VERY very energetic! But in a good way most of the time. She's usually very good when I take her somewhere, and she is able to sit for unusually long periods of time, I think, for a 2-year-old. Anyway, for the first time, today, we went to a toddler storytime held at one of our local libraries. Danielle was very excited. They had little square-shaped mats stacked up for people to sit on because you sat on the floor. Well, between Danielle running back and forth to get the mats and my running back and forth after her to put them back, I kept quite busy and we didn't hear much of the story. Somewhere in the middle of this, I turned around to see a woman reprimanding her about not running into people. Then they took out some parachutes for another activity and laid them out flat on the floor. Well, between Danielle not wanting to put the mat away and running back on forth on top of the parachute, I decided we should take our exit. I felt pretty badly, but after I thought about it a little while, I decided to try to engage her in some other activity first before going to storytime, like going to the park or a walk, to try to get some of her excess energy out before we attend. Maybe that will work better.

Well, that was my day! Back to work for me, and I look forward to getting to know all of you! :))
