I am now back to staying at home with my 18 month son. Trying to get some type of routine down, but little man keeps wanting to mix it up for us. Anyone else have problems staying on track? Anyone out there just go with the flow? |

Hi, I also had to adjust to his schedule when I started staying home about 4 mos. ago. It was interesting adjusting to being home with him, eventually I got used to it & enjoy it more now. I have to do everything around HIS schedule, but he definitely has always had a routine...his naps are the only thing that seem to change every 3 mos. lol He was at a babysitter with his VERY rowdy cousins before & didn't take long enough naps until I picked him up. He gets much better rest now...& so do I lol

Routine is extremely important to children, they rely on them and when they are detour from that routine their whole personality can change. I am a little concerned with my son who will be 2 next month, unfortunately my husband and I seperated today (I spent the entire day moving our stuff out of the house) I am hoping that I can still maintain his old routine as much as possible but it is obviously going to be difficult since we are now staying with my mother. I am hoping that this is just a seperation and that my husband will figure out what he is giving up but in the meantime I have to figure out how to keep some semblance of his routine in order to keep us both sane. |

I hope that things work our Kyleen...I know that men are hard to understand some times...A break can help a person understand what they are missing! |

I am so sorry Kyleen.Men can be booholes.I am glad that your mom is so close that you have some where to go and talk too.You also know that if you need to holler gripe and biotch we are here for you.Your hubby needs to be reminded why you and him got together in the first place and what it was that was so terrible that he cant talk to you about. Then If your hubby cant see what he is giving up then dont try and hold on to him. Then pray to God and tell God on him.Thats the worst thing you could do to a person!Let him go and get on w your life. There are alot of men that would kill for a family and a good woman.Dont let him take that hope away from you. |
