The following suggestions came from The toddler's Busy Book: 365 creative games and activities to keep your 1 1/2 to 3 yr old busy
Sweetheart Sandwhich:
Take softened creamed cheese adn add drops of read food coloring until the desired red is acheived ( you can also flavor the cream cheese with drops of honey or cinamon) then spread creamed cheese on to bread and use heart shaped cookie cutter to cut the bread into shape
Edible Valentines
using graham crackers,conversation hearts and other heart shaped candy and pink frosting ( can always get white frosting and color it with food coloring in red,pink,purple etc)
Use the frosting to "glue" the conversation hearts and other candy onto graham cracker, decorate graham cracker with frosting and make an edible valentine
Valentine crafts
Using construction paper of differnt colors cut out hearts and have your toddler use paint (if you are brave) stickers markers and crayons to decorate the hearts and then hang them onyour windows, you can also use the excess paper that now has a cut out heart and tape valentine tissue paper to the sides or place a picture of your child inside the cut out heart and glue popsicle sticks around the sides to frame it.
Have them decorate white paper doilies (not sure how to spell it) from any dollar store with conversation hearts and art supplies.

| I love this crafts idea, its great. love Valentine's. I wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that my birthday is the day after. LOL. Thanks for the ideas/tips |

| Toddlers can have honey after 1 year, the risk is of botulism spores growing in their intestines. And I just got the Toddler's Busy Book as a gift a few months ago for her birthday and I love it. Yay for Valentine's Day fun! |
