Looking for Support to Loose weight
Hi,

I read a few posts on this group and feel that we can provide support to each other to loose weight.

I have two kids, with my daughter I was able to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight in a year, yes it took me a year.

With my son, who is 14 months now, I am still strugglisg to loose 15 pounds. I have been struggling to loose 15 pounds since last 6 months :)

I am exercising, I try to do 5-6 times a week. but then there are days when my son does not sleep (teething, colds, just fussy, etc) and i don't exercise for days and also eat food i should not be eating :)

I work fulltime 9am to 6pm. It is very difficult for me to get up in mornings, evenings i am too tried to exercise.

It will be helpful if we provide suppport and log our success weekly, you know when you have to tell someone, you do better :)

Hello!
So many things came to mind when I read your post, but I'll try to keep it short. First off, I totally agree, it is great to have some support when it comes to fitness, so consider me on board! I had a major breakthrough with fitness in my twenties, and I have managed to hang on to my mindset even now. I am 37, and a first-time mom. Some helpful tools for me are
1. don't put pressure on yourself to lose weight, but rather try and get fit.Staying healthy so we can lead a happy life with our families is priority, not trying to look like a model.
2.Learn about body mass index, and what is the right number for your body type. It is smarter than the scale!
3. Drink plenty of water. If you drink any sort of soda, diet or regular, just stop! There is more sugar in a soda than you can imagine. Diet sodas are just plain bad for you.
4. learn about healthy food choices, not about restricting yourself. Starving is not going to help you lose weight.
5. Fitting in exercise. This one is the toughie. I am struggling now to fit it in, just like you. But try little things
Stretching
Parking farther away in the parking lot for a lonfger walk to the grocery store
Taking the stairs/

Sorry for the long post, but this is a hot button with me!
