1ST Birthday ideas for boy/girl TWINS???

Looking for birthday ideas for my boy/girl twins that turn 1 February 3rd. I like my babies to coordinate in some way, and I don't like any of the cartoon themes out there. Any unique ideas? Also, 1 cake or 2??????

We did primary colors for our boy/girl twins. You can dress them each in a different primary color head to toe and the decorations are easy to come by because they aren't so specific. I even found some "Babies 1st Birthday" items at the party store that were already in primary colors. We decorated cupcakes instead of a cake and used white frosting with primary color sprinkles and used red an green lifesavers to hold up their little candles. This way they each got their own "cake" but it wasn't such a big waste. They tore into those cupcakes like nobody's business. It was soo cute.
