I have already begun my research regarding homeschooling and the laws of my state regarding homeschooling (I live in Florida). I am very impressed with everything I have read so far tonight. I have also contacted a few support groups that serve my county in order to speak with some other homeschooling parents. I have read about legal struggles and cases in my state also, and should I decide to homeschool, I will definitely get memberships to the Parents Education Association and the HSLDA. Thank you all again very much for your help and tips. I will keep you posted. |

Thanks Kelly. Looking forward to reading and responding to post. Home schooling has been the best decision I ever made. I have a child in college now and one still at home and home schooling both of them has been wonderful! |

I, too, feel that homeschooling is the best decision I've ever made for my family. I just wish I could've started doing it sooner!
I'm sure you'll be able to share some of your experience with us here and help us to encourage others who are homeschooling or thinking of homeschooling. |
