welcome virgie! i have been in your spot, twice. i have been a diabetic sence i was 13. i now have a son, age 5 and a daughter, now 4 who is also a diabetic. i was lucky to have had a wonderful ob-gyn who deals with nothing but diabetics. i know how hard it is with all the food restrictions and blood-testing. have you talked with your doc about c-secs? that was my greatest fear and both my kids came that way.both kids were too big: i'm only 5'1 and 108 lbs. i thought it would be worse, but i'm glad that i did go that way.
