How do you know your supply is low? is your baby failing to gain weight? Remember babies have a growth spurt around 3 months, and often nurse around the clock, every hour even. Don't let a growth spurt make you think you aren't producing enough.

A lot of factors can influence your supply. If you are not eating enough calories, or are not getting the rest you need, it will affect your supply.
It helps to pump after nursing if you have access to a breastpump.
If you are looking for herbs or something, check out kellymom.com for a list of galactogogues and other great tips for increasing your supply. Of course, check with your DR before taking anything.

I agree with Bethany, Everything she said is correct. I experienced that at the same time too and it is because of the growth spurt and changes in your body. I found that nursing him at least every two hours helped plus pumping a lot to get my milk supply up as it runs on stimulation and supply and demand. Also a big tip is to go down to the health food store and buy the herb pills called Fenugreek, they increase your milk, I used them and it really worked, be carefully though cause it's pretty powerful so start out have the dose first and gradually go to more while still pumping. I have heard that teas also work. Let me know how it goes.

I agree with pumping and eating right, but also you should Increase your water intake as much as you can, this will boost your milk supply.

Yes that really does help, since you need to drink a lot of water especially when breastfeeding, there is a lot of water in breastmilk to help babies thurst.

Way to go Bethany, Christine, and Ali. Thanks for the responses.

Jill- Bethany is right how do you know your low? You dont want to over produce either, I'm sure you know that could be painful. They are also right on with the pumping. If you are low pump after each feeding. Pump untill you are empty and up to 5 min after. If your are completely empty after feeding pump for about 10-15 min. You do need to be eating well. I know I get so busy sometimes I forget to eat. Your baby takes about 500 extra calories from you a day so you need to make up for that. Bethany is right, check out kellymom.com. I found lots of good info there. I think that fenugreek that Christine mentioned is on there. When I had low production I think I was taking 3 pills twice a day. You can get it at GNC for about $13 for 200 pills. Be sure to check with your doc, as with any over the counter med it could clash with something else you taking. Also the water. Drinking excess water is just going to make you pee more. If you drink to much it can be harmful to you. So dont start guzzling water. Just stay hydrated.
Another good source of info is the lactation consultant at the hospital. Usually you can call them for help or set up an appointment for free. Thats how I found out about the fenugreek.
Another good thing to keep in mind is to establish good eating habits in your baby as soon as possible. Make sure your baby doesn't fall asleep while nursing. I have found that the eat wake sleep cycle is wonderful. I wish I done it as soon as my daughter was born. But I still had her sleeping through the night by 4 months.
