bottle
Hi my name is Alison, I have a 3 month old daughter. I am planning on going back to work next month so we've been trying to get her to take a bottle, but she will only take one from me. She gets so upset when anyone else trys to feed her. Has anyone else had this problem???

Ali, have you gotten her to take a bottle from someone else yet? I never fed my daughter with a bottle. I was adamant about her only having a bottle when I was at work. My husband or my father gave her bottles. Of course I was the one to defrost the milk and get the bottles ready. I think that she may be being stubborn because she like feeding with you but if she is hungry enough she will eat. Check with your pediatrician if you keep having problems. Let us know what happens.

Her dr told me to start giving her a bottle at 3 weeks old, atleast one a week, no more then 2 a day. Her father was the one to try this but she never would take it. I finally started stepping in and giving her a bottle a couple weeks ago. But still, she isnt taking it from anyone else. I figured if she still wasnt taking it from other people how much could it hurt if i started trying? she obviously isnt going to refuse breastfeeding if she is putting up all this work to not take a bottle.
