I am new here and i saw this twins section. i have 20 month old fraternal twin boys. they were born at 32 weeks and they spent 1 month in the nicu. I would really love to get to know all of you and your families

Hi Melanie, I have fraternal twins too, they are five years old now and they also spent some time in NICU. That experience was the real hard part of taking care of them everything else was so easy in comparison. Now they have reached an easier stage where they start to be more mature and they actually follow me around instead of me chasing them. There is less physical work and more psychological... in a way it is just a different challenge every day!

Hello... I have 9 month old fraternal twins and i am also new at this... mine where born at 35 weeks and stayed in the NICU for 1 week... it was very upsetting not being able to take care of your children... they were 5ibs12oz and 4ibs8oz.... they are growing up so quick....mine are both boys and they look NOTHING alike.... not even like brothers!!!! i also have a 14 and 12 yr old boys.....
