I am a reporter looking to interview Moms both on and OFF camera (in case you're camera shy) about their concerns their young child is gay- some are worried because their young son plays with dolls, likes to play dress-up, etc... Same with their little girls who love to get dirty and play with trucks... But when is it just kids being kids vs. a real concern??? I would appreciate an opportunity to speak with any moms who have had these thoughts, concerns, or who have any opinions on this... | Well I just have a few things to say to you about your topic.As far as playing w dolls,dressup,kitchen,pretend cooking and house w/ the opposite sex,in Texas it is required for boys and girls to do such a thing.They have stations that the children or groups get to play at for an hr.It is also the same w/ trucks, cars ,and blocks for them.All my boys played house and dolls(barbies, cabbage patchdolls, and gi joe) and dressup.None of them are gay;I assure you.I would be very upset if my children didnt learn to interact w the opposite sex.I am glad that daycares and schools make that a requirement for preschool and kindergarten age.Ever heard the old saying if momma aint happy no one is?Boys learn that at a very early age w/ girls to keep them happy.When my kids were young,myself included,I got as dirty as I could w dirt pies, water ,and sand,as did my daughter w my 6 boys when they were younger.So I think your statics are wrong.Id hate to think that some 1 in their stupidity would label some 1 gay just because they liked to do opposite sex things cause it was fun. And how else are cute boys gonna be able to get close to cute girls.I do not know how many times my boys or daughter came home and told me guess what mom so and so played w me and smiled and has a crush on me.Thats what I think about your statistics. |
