question, any comments would be helpful
My husband has been in the army for 2 yrs, and he has been in iraq since Feb. Which leaves me to deal with finances.Without getting into too much detail, he has a student loan from when he was in college and he only went through the 3rd trimester.
Anyways..to get to the point.
We have set up a payment Plan and we have stuck to it and sent in the money monthly as agreed.Yet we have been getting harrassment phone calls from them..continuously. By harrassment I dont mean just *pay more money!* even though like i said, we have been sticking to my husbands agreement that he has made with them before he left for iraq.He explained to them before he left he would be gone but i would continue to pay.

They have called and threatened us many times and told pretty much his whole family how much he owes and has threatened family members and called us names. They also say they have not received a payment for 11/1/07.Which I know myself is a lie, because I checked with my bank and they have cashed the check.,..I just found out through law, that im under no obligation to continue to pay them since my name is not on the contract..
What should I do?

Yes, talk to the legal office on base and make sure you have paper work out the wazzoo covering your tracks as far as what you have paid. You also can report them to the BBB if they are apart of that.
