Welcome ladies. I hope that the two of you settle in to your new home towns. I know how hard it can be to move somehwere where you really don't know anybody. Florida is great for all of its weather and heat which makes losing weight really fast as long as your outside. I am originally from Florida and when I went back on a weekend visit I lost 5 pounds just by installing the baby seat in and out of everybody's cars. As for Arizona I am sure it gets hot there as well. I hope you two will jump right on in and become active in our group we have a handful of women who communicate back and forth regulalry on here. Happy New Year and welcome again. |

thank you fot the welcome! yes its hard not knowing anyone, but i do have my son and 2 dogs to walk with at least! and its great to have dogs because when it is time for a walk, which i usually do the same times every day, well they dont let me forget!!! they sit and stare at me til we get going fot that walk!!! they help me alot! and as for my son, well he is soo good on the walks and just sits there and watched the view! so this is my 5th day walking and i am enjoying it. now all i have to do is get the good foods in my house and get rid of the junk from the holidays so it doesnt yell at me to eat it everytime i walk by it!!!! THANKS AGAIN FOR THE WELCOME AND I HOPE TO COME ON HERE AND GET SOME ADVISE AND SUPPORT! |

Beth I am very glad that you have companions to use as your workout buddies. That should be able to help you out a lot. Try every time you go out to walk a little faster or a little longer and as you keep increasing your body will start to lose at a steady pace also remember to add in a little something different because after awhile your body gets use to what your doing as if it is an everday task and you will most likely hit a plateau and stop losing. By keeping your body guessing it keeps it from getting to comfortable with your routine. Good luck and keep up the hard work. |
