hello
Hello. Does anyone ever look at this group anymore? Just curious.

Hi! I do occasionally check in to this group and site to see if there's anyone new in my area or anything going on. I tried a couple times to get people together but I didn't have much luck - maybe because I'm out in the Romeo/Washington area....so a little far from some - although I did meet a couple nice moms from this site and have talked w/a couple on the phone as well. I am always looking to get together w/other moms/children to play/talk - ....michelle

Hi Lisa
I check every once in a while to see if there are any new posts for playdates. I haven't met anyone yet, but would like to.

Hi Michelle
I'm from Fraser 15 & Utica area. Next week would work for me. My daughter is only 15 months old, but she loves playing with kids of any age and just being around people in general. Let me know. I joined your playgroup!

Mon., Wed., and Fri. of next week work for me. I live in Sterling Heights so it seems like the Hall Road/Lakeside area would work for all of us. Let me know what you think.

BTW, I have two boys- one is almost 4 and one is almost 9 months. It looks like the two of you have girls. Do you mind boys joining your group?!?! :)

we'll have to set something up - maybe mon or wed next week?? any ideas besides chuck e cheese?? lakeside is too crazy to watch kids and try to talk to moms -just my opinion...and yes - boys and girls mix well - no worries there! :)

I don't know how you feel about going to a McDonalds with a playplace. The one by Lakeside does not have a playplace. There is a McDonalds further east on Hall, but I don't know if there is a playplace there. The McDonalds on 15 and VanDyke does have a playplace. Also, I want to mention that Wolcott Farm has a "Fun with Chickens" program going on. One of the dates is Jan 23rd. Michelle, are you familiar with Wolcott Farm Learning Center? It's actually in Ray Township, not far from Washington Twp. Just an idea...
Let me know your thoughts.

I'm fine w/Mcdonalds playplaces - 15/Vandyke isn't bad for me - I do think there is a burger king on Schoenherr/M59 that has a playplace as well - whatever is in between us all. There's another mom that contacted me on here from Romeo - I've asked her if she would like to meet up with us as well - so wherever it is - hopefully in the middle of us all.
As for Wolcott Farm - it's awesome. We are there quite a bit in the summer/spring to see new babies & walk around - it's free. We also go for Easter/Halloween activities - they charge a few bucks. I've never done the "learn about...." programs they do - I know they charge a few bucks for that as well....let me know if you are signing up - I could if I know I'm meeting someone up there. It is really a nice place and definitely something we should meet up to do in the summer/spring as well! :)

The Burger King on Schoenher/M59 will work too. I just never think of Burger King! I'm as brainwashed as the kids in picking the golden arches!LOL Whatever works for all is fine by me.

I know they charge for the chickens program, but I'm not sure what. I'll find out. We, too, go to Wolcott quite often. In fact, we were there for the lunch with Santa program. It was fantastic. We had a hotdog lunch and icecream. Then Mrs. Claus read stories. Every child sat on Santa's lap and got their picture taken. We went on a horse-drawn carriage ride and we made a craft. We had a good time.
