Hello Ladies, I am currently a working mom of one 2 year old boy. We are expecting our second in early April and I am planning to stay home for at least a few years if I can swing it. I am not originally from this area and most of my friends work and do not have kids so I would love to find some moms and kids to interact with. I know my son, Nicholas, will miss his daycare friends and he is very active so he needs to make some new friends. If you all are interested in getting together, perhaps on a Saturday to start with, I would love to meet you and see what your thoughts about parenting and raising kids in Northern VA are. It is important to have a support group and I would love to meet up.

Hi Heather,
I just joined this group yesterday and saw your post. Have you had the second baby yet? I also have a two year old boy, Daniel, and I have a 8 month old girl, Lillian. It is pretty crazy having two. I would love to get together with you and let the boys play. Let me know if you have a chance, I know things have to be insane in your house right now!!!
