Potty Training Time
Its time to potty train Lexi.I bought her a potty chair for christmas. Its the 1 that has music if you use it.Shes already used it 3 xs w her 13 yr old sister (who went back to her moms)taking her last week a few times. The kids are going back to school and now its going to be her and I all alone here. She has a 9 yr old sister;so that'll help out a lil'.I think girls are easier then boys.We shall see if I can do a good job in less amount of time as it took some of the other of my kids.Any new advice would be helpful.

I wish you luck! I am and have been in the process of trying to potty train my just turned 3 year old girl! She had been doing pretty good in the beginning and I was so proud of her. She unfortunately got sick and fell out of the habit. Which is completely understandable and she is still trying to get back into the groove of things. I don't push her to use it or anything cause I've heard horror stories that made me think. She has a younger sis who 18 months and goes in the bathroom everytime she feels the urge to go sit on the potty. I'm sure this isn't any new advice, but every but counts...Keep on her as far as just encouragement and dont slack. Something that has helped me that I don'tknow if you have tried this at all is I have a potty time calender chart thing and it has all the days of the week and 7 circles after the day and it comes with reward magnets and everytime she takes a step towards using the potty such as wearing pullups or just sitting on the potty, she gets to pickout which magnet she wats and puts it on a circle for that day and depending how may magnets she has at the end of the week, she gets a reward! It had helped alot. We got ours from Walmart, but you could even make a homemade one and make it a craft you guys could do together!! And instead of using magnets, you could use stickers. Best of luck to you guys!

my best advice is do not rush. if she knows what the potty is and what to do in the potty then just let her tell you when she is ready.
