Hi Cyndi welcome to the group. I am a SAHM to Sarah who will be 2 Jan.11. I know what you mean about making friends. I love to respond on here, but have really only made 1 friend that has really kept in touch. I tried with the others but I was the only one sending messages, so I thought that they didnt really want to .

Hello, yeah it seems the older I get the harder it is to even get in the door with people and their lives, I am not one who is needy nor do I need a daily conversation with someone, but since I am home again and my fiancee works and my kids are all at school it's nice to talk about the everyday stuff with someone of my age, why is it so hard to make friends as an adult, since my divorce all of our mutual friends have distanced them selves so I am literally starting all over.... It's kinda funny I woulda never thought i'd be in this place i feel like i'm a teenager again LOL ;o) only with four kids now so not really LOL ;o) well its nice to meet you, I check my email daily so send me a message as often as you'd like,,,

Cyndi, I am right there with ya...it does seem harder the older you get. I think my biggest problem is learning to trust people anymore it seems you just can't find good friends. I am learning though...

Well once you've been hurt (in my case my divorce) you just seem to want to stick to what you know so that there is no drama or future hurts but the reality is we can't stay couped up in the house especially for me my personality is so outgoing that I can only handle it for a while then I start wanting those girl friendships I don't mind having male friends but when you are in a relationship that does not seem to work Lol ;o) so here I am trying to meet people online who woulda thought! LOL
