I feel like that everyday! my newborn doesnt seem to respond well to me and my toddler is so defiant but only with me! he will give everyone else a hug or kiss but when i ask for one he says no and screams! My youngest doesnt sleep well really at all, day or nite. so i have my hands full and maybe i dont devot enough time just for him, or just for my toddler. thats the hardest part is trying to divide up time to spend individually with each of them!
We will get thru it.....
as long as we know there are other moms out there in the same situations..... we are all here to help.....
I dont have any real good advice though, just to do what your doing and stay strong! |

| I have noticed that is really a reflection of what you are going through. If you are stressed and frustrated, then they generally are not the happiest babies/kids to you. After I have a really bad day, the next day I try to do something fun or something we haven't done in a while. Everyone seems to be much happier. It's not easy being happy all the time, or even very often when two/three little ones are driving you crazy all day. And then add in a hubbie who doesn't help much, and it's a recipe for chaos. I just take it one day at a time, and the kids seem to respond better, when I can get myself calm and a bit more centered. Hope this helps :) (I know it's an old thread, but I am new to the group) |
