Mylicon or Gripe Water both work really well--check with your doctor though if you think it might be colic. I thought my daughter had colic and it turned out to be acid reflux. I had been dumping mylicon down her and it wasn't doing any good! Bicycle kick his legs or push his knees into his tummy. If he's on formula I would consider changing formulas. If you're nursing him try not having any dairy, or omitting different things until you figure out what might be giving him gas. :) it will go away, don't worry!

I thought my son also had colic but found out it was painful gas... the doctor had to prescrice a med because mylicon wasn't strong enough...also If breastfeeding you may need to cut out gas producing foods like dairy and leafy green veggies.

We applied a warm towel to his tummy and that helped alot. We put a hand towel in the microwave for 30 seconds let it cool for a second and put the towel between him and us when we burped him. good luck.
