I am wondering what everyone uses to store/keep backups of their digital photos? Right now I have some saved to a CD, but if my computer ever crashes I'll loose most of them. I've thought about a memory stick, but wanted to get other opinions??? Thanks! Jenni |

hey jenni, I would advise against backing your files up to a memory stick as they are very easily lost. I use a lacie external harddrive to store most of my images. then I burn them to DVDs when I get a chance. either if these are compact enough that they can be kept in my fire/waterproof safe for extra protection. I would also advise against writing directly on the discs since i've been told that over time the ink can seep into the disc and damage the files. |

Have you thought of online photo storage? I have an account with myphotoalbum.com It's free and offers unlimited photo storage, plus you can create different albums to share with friends and family, and order prints and cd's when you want to. I hope this is helpful! :) |

Flickr is great too, but warning: it's more addictive than Facebook! |

I always put a copy of my photos on a CD disk. Plus I use snapfish.com and Shutterfly.com to put them in albums. I just need to try and order some after I put them there......lol.
