Mother's Day Out
So, can anyone recommend a local MDO program- or possibly a good preschool that accepts younger (not yet potty trained) kids? I would love to get my 2 yr old out of the house some days to interact with other kids. It would be good for him, AND me.

I live in Seminole and go to a program in Tecumseh. I am pretty sure they would have one in Norman. It's called :Oklahoma Parents as Teachers program. It is for newborn to right before they start kindgarten. It is a great program my son loves it. Pam Smith is the director of the Tecumseh program. She comes to our House once a month just to kind of measure where my son is at and gives suggestions on different activities you can do and answers questions that your have. She also has a playday once a week, every friday from 9 to 11. When my son turns 3 he will go to her classroom on tuesdays and I will have to leave him, I think its 3 hours then they start to do more preschool type things with Miss Pam. We just had our Christmas party this past friday and she had both sets of children there, there were probably 25 kids and I think she has 30 total. It runs just like the school year would and is out for the summer. Hope this helps, it is really a neat program.
