No custody battle for me

I just found out that i am not going to be able to file for custody of my daughter. I can't afford a lawyer and i don't qualify for a free one. Because i live with my sister,mom and brother-inlaw, their incomes are a factor in me qualifying for one. And they will not be able to help me pay for one. I am so upset because i feel like i am stuck with my daughter's father, i have to depend on him to be able to do certain things for my daughter, and i just want him out of my life, but i can't do that. if anyone has any advice i would love to hear it.

Hi Cynthia, I am so sorry to hear about the battle I dont know the personal circumsyances of why you want your chils father out of you life but no matter how bad he is you must remember that he is her father and she might resent you keeping him from her and he should support her and be in her life even if he has to have supervised visits if you would like to e-mail me my address is Mkimbud22@aol.com and we can talk futher i do kinda know how you fell my prayers are with you

Cynthia...that really sucks!! I am in the middle of trying to get a free lawyer to iron out some custody issues...just to protect myself. I am having some issues with my son's father...mostly emotional issues...(he cheated, we broke up, his whore is pregnant and due anyday, and i found out from a mutual coworker YESTERDAY.) I don't want him out forever...just until I can cope with this. We were together for 6 years and I have NO idea how to even deal with this!! I thought that we were open and honest...and then this!! agh. Good Luck
