have a secret change jar?
I have one and traded it in for money to holiday shop on Black Friday. Had a blast!
I've al ready been filling it up again since then, pennies here and there and change I find in the laundry, truck and from my husband.
If you don't have one, I suggest you start one then you won't feel so short changed.....
sorry couldn't resist :)))))) |

lol! i have one too! me and hubby just add our spare change to it when we clean out the car or i vac out the couch. but it's all mine to spend how i like. i haven't spent any in god-knows-when, so i plan to use it for x-mas this year, but not on black friday. we live in a small town, with one walmart, one k-mart, ect,,,, only like 5 dept. stores in town, and people are sooo rude this time of year. i plan to leave the kids with my dad and go shopping with my mom this comming week. |

That's fantastic! You must write back and let us know about your shopping day! |

I'm HAPPY! Today I counted the little stash of change and one's I've stored away in the last 2 weeks. I now have an extra $20 to spend to day while volunteering at a store for a charity at the mall.
Doesn't sound like much, but honestly who want to be at the mall without money for four hours? :) |

I have been wanting to do that. I hate change and hate carrying it around! |

We save our pocket change for our daughter. We put it in her bank and when it gets full, we put it all in a bank account for her that also earns interest. I think it is a great way to get her started with a college fund...we plan on doing this with all our children and as much as I would like to spend her money, she is more important and I don't need that much now! We love to give her that little extra (in addition to what we put in from the monthly work income too)! |

Oh Lexi, don't give up.
Just don't tell them you have it.
Think of it as a step towards independence. |
