Now, I will "explicable" it! lol
I was in the hospital for depression from Nov. 20th to Nov. 29th. Everything is fine now, and I'm glad to be home!
A friend was going to email another friend to see if she'd check on my groups, but the first friend has been so busy adding another child to her homeschool schedule and hosting relatives that she just couldn't do it!
Anywho, over the next few days I'll be catching up on what has been posted, so I'll see you around! |

I wondered what happened to you; and thought is was unusual that you had not posted. Yes, hospitals are not the best place to be. But sometimes you need that extra rest away from home where they can monitor you, even though they are in your room constantly. I bet you are tired of staying in bed, or were you able to walk around?
Glad to hear you are back, and on your way to recovery. Only best wishes from the heart here. Big bear hug being sent long distance. |

| Oh, no! No lying around on the psych ward! They've got you busy seeing Dr's and therapists and going to educational, recreational, and therapeutic groups. We watched movies, played games, ate ourselves sick, read books, visited, learned about our various illnesses, medicines and how to cope. We cried and laughed and, sometimes, got raving mad. It's an interesting place to be, BUT I'm glad I can go get help when I need it. |

| Glad you are back and I hope you are feeling better. I figured you were having computer problems again and just threw it out the window, lol. :-) |

I'm sooo glad you are back!!!
It takes courage to tell people about suffering from depression, you are awesome!! I take a medication to help me but haven't been hospitalized for it. You are a courageous inspiration to the rest of us! |

| You'd be amazed how many people are treated for depression, and even more amazed by how many of those are hospitalized at least once. There isn't the stigma there used to be, thank goodness, so more people seek treatment when they need it. |

Well, I appreciate your humbleness, but still think your awesome :)
For years I made jokes about "Mama's little helper" and "Turning into a Stepford wife" However this year I became seriously ill and couldn't walk, after months of tests for MS, Lupus and numerous other things, it was determined I had an attack of an Epstien Bar type virus along with Fibromyalgia. One of the side effects is depression and now take medicine for it. It has revolutionized my life. I'm certainly not any of things I feared in the past but can sleep at not and much more physically and emotionally stable. |
