| Hi, everyone! We just recently moved out here to Colorado, and am really looking for some people and kids to get together and socialize. My daughter is 10 months old and we would love to get to know some other kids in our area. |

Welcome Shawna, hope your move was easy and you guys are getting settled. My daughter Eden is 19 mos old and we have a baby on the way due any day now. Thornton Tiny Tots have yet to get together, right after I started the group we found out we were pregnant and I had a rough first trimester and the summer was HOT!!!!! I would love to meet you and well, everyone else. IF anyone has any ideas of where and when we could meet please let me know and we can FINALLY get together. IF you have any questions or need some help finding anything please let me know...If you are looking for a WONDERFUL pediatrician there is one right in broomfield at Arvada Pediatrics, her name is Dr. Kathryn Starbuck, shes amazing. Shawna,
I'm near the intersection of 128th & Holly. Not too far from Broomfield. Where did you move from, and what part of Broomfield are you in? We go to the Paul Derda Rec Cntr occassionally and go play at the indoor playground thing, have you been there before?
I just read the post from Mandi about her pediatrician. Both my daughters also see Dr Kathryn Starbuck and we love her! However, last I heard, she wasn't accepting new patients. All the doctors at that practice are great, though. We've really enjoyed going there! |

| Hello Mandi and Shanna! Thanks for the replies. We moved here from LA, California. We are enjoying the move though. We are located right off of 120th and Marble. Basically right by Hwy 287 and Hwy 36, I believe. Shanna, I have heard of that rec center, from a magazine we get in the mail. I went online to check them out, but them seem really expensive, atleast for the yearly dues. We already belong to Ballys Fitness Center, but have yet to go out here. Yikes! Anyways, I'm still too new to the area to have any ideas as far as where we all could meet, but maybe something like the rec center would be a good idea. Especially if they have an indoor playground. I was wondering if they had those out here or not, as they have quite a few in CA. Especially with the weather getting colder and with the snow. Burr!! Well, if anyone has any ideas or would like to get together, please let me know. I'm definitely looking forward to the companionship. Till then! |
