Ok, so now long will this teething thing last?? When my daughter was 3 months my sis-in-law told me she was teething cuz her gums were getting hard and she was munching and drooling on everything...now we are one week shy of 6 months and last week she slept badly wouldn't eat solids and drooling all over the place. She was cranky as could be..Well she starting to eat the solids again and sleeping better (although we for some reason can't get her to take afternoon naps anymore so shes falling asleep for the night at like 5pm!) so is it really teething? will she ever pop out a tooth??? |

Hi Elizabeth. Mackenzie has been teething since she was 3 months as well. She just turned 8 months and is working on her first 3 teeth. The bottom one is just about all the way through and the two on top are just blisters. This whole past week her sleeping was horrible and she didn't have much of an appetite. Teething can start very early and take awhile before seeing any teeth. My friends son didn't have a tooth until his 1st bday. |

Sounds VERY familiar...I thought my son was teething at three months because he was drooling like crazy and putting everything in his mouth. His first two teeth came in at seven months...a day or two before each tooth came in he was cranky, drooling and sucking all over everything, had a low grade fever and would not sleep at night. Once the tooth broke he was as happy as could be. He's now eight months and I think tooth number three is on it's way. Here's a few things that really helped soothe my son...cold water in a bottle (Favorite!), fresh fruit in a mesh feeder and Hyland teething tablets...hope this helps...lots of luck!!! |

I am so happy to hear some of this, because my son is 3 months old, and all of a sudden early last week, he just started waking up all night long, crying really bad, he has a little fever on and off for the past few days, and his eating habits have been all over the place and teething ran accross my mind, but I thought it was way too early for that.. through the day he seems fine.. But maybe this is what's goinbg on with him... Thank you everyone!! With him being only 3 months old, should I try giving him teething tablets, see if it helps, or just ride it out.. I am so tired :) |
