WELCOME!!!
Have you ever felt like you wanted to scream but couldn’t quite schedule to time to do so without an innocent little face following your around? Have you ever pulled your child out of daycare so fast you forgot you had to go to work the next day? Ever had a nanny or child care provider so perfect you wanted to nominate them for a Nobel Peace Prize? How about a wish that you could get just one free day of childcare a month so you could afford to fill up your gas tank?!

Child Care Concerns In Common (CCCIC) recognizes you as another parent or community member who has a story to tell. No, you’re not alone! Now is your chance..let loose your concerns, advice and experiences concerning child care. What's on your mind? Let's be respectful…yet honest!

Here’s one chapter of my story…

While stay-at-home parenting during my late husband’s military-related absence in early 2006, I found it difficult to get a break to participate in my community or otherwise spend time for myself. I did not live near a military installation at the time and my family members were all very busy with their OWN lives. Marital discord was at a peak and the fact that my infant son was often colicky with a side of intense separation anxiety added to the stress (and lack of family support).

However, by this point in my life the idea of being stuck at home all day, nearly everyday with more children was not the least bit appealing. My outlet was taking online classes and I often studied in the wee hours of the morning before sunrise. During an advocacy class in Fall 2006, I worked my childcare issues through an assignment promoting social change and my journey to mom-preneurship began…
