2. Does Santa wrap presents or just sit them under the tree? WRAPS - WELL, GIFT BAGS (under tree wrapped with brown paper bag first to prevent peeking)
3. Colored lights on tree/house or white? COLORED ALL THE WAY (both in house and around outside of house)
4. Do you hang mistletoe? NO, BUT IT IS OKLAHOMA'S STATE FLORAL EMBLEM! (No)
5. When do you put up your decorations? DAY AFTER THANKSGIVING-ISH (begin week before-outside of house 1st)
6. What is your favorite holiday dish? FAVORITE - I HAVE TO PICK ONE! I DON'T THINK SO, I MIGHT HURT THE OTHER DISHES' FEELINGS ( pecan pie made with maple syrup)
7. Favorite Holiday memory as a child: MY GRAMPA MADE ME A CHILD-SIZE WOODEN ROCKER ONE CHRISTMAS (My father would eat the "tamale" and drink the "atole" and tell us that Santa Clause ate it, that is why he is so fat)
8. When and how did you learn the truth about Santa? ABOUT AGE 10/11 - I SAW MY GRANDMA PUTTING THE MONEY IN THE STOCKING (I don't remember-I will have to ask my mom)
9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve? WE OPEN EVERYTHING ON CHRISTMAS EVE AND EAT OURSELVES STUPID ON CHRISTMAS DAY (Yes, but, first we celebrate Chanukkah, and open those gifts, if it happens to run into each holiday, we open one gift for Chanukkah and one for Christmas. We eat on Christmas day- all day)
10. How do you decorate your Christmas Tree? IT'S A MESS OF MIS-MATCHED SENTIMENTAL ORNAMENTS (lights and several ornaments made from the kids only)
11. Snow! Love it or Dread it? LOVE IT - AS LONG AS I AM IN THE HOUSE (love it. But it rarely snows in the So. Desert-but when it did a couple years ago, it was wonderful)

14. What's the most important thing about the Holidays for you? FAMILY (family and eating dinner)
15. What is your favorite Holiday Dessert? SEE #6 ABOVE (pecan pie)
16. What is your favorite holiday tradition? VISITING WITH FAMILY (going to a neighborhood dubbed "candycane lane" where all the homes are decorated in Christmas fashion. Santa Clause arrives in his red fire truck handing out candy canes and taking pictures with the children)
17. What tops your tree? A LIGHTED ANGEL - AND SHE IS BEAUTIFUL! (a lighted flower)
18. Which do you prefer giving or receiving? GIVING - ACTUALLY, WATCHING WHAT I'VE GIVEN BE OPENED, BECAUSE THEIR REACTIONS ARE THE BEST THINGS I RECEIVE! (i like to give & receive)

25: How do you spend your New Years? I SLEEP IN THE NEW YEAR - YIPPEE! (New Years Dinner, go to the movies, or have a small get together at my house and I serve appetizers and have a couple of drinks)

2. Does Santa wrap presents or just sit them under the tree? we've used some weird stuff to wrap with, like pillowcases

4. Do you hang mistletoe? yes, when I remember
5. When do you put up your decorations? DAY AFTER THANKSGIVING-, outside earlier if I can fit it in and remember to buy lights ahead of time
6. What is your favorite holiday dish? pineapple w/ cherries on toothpicks in pineapple (means Welcome) spinach dip, appetizers galore!
7. Favorite Holiday memory as a child: waking to the smell of baked goods from the kitchen, I love great food scents!
8. When and how did you learn the truth about Santa?don't remember but do remember the heartbreak when my younger brother found out
9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve? We open a present and something special for the family.
10. How do you decorate your Christmas Tree? Our family picks a theme and chooses colors for the house each year
11. Snow! Love it or Dread it? It is a MUST HAVE
12. Can you ice skate? I'm at the hanging on the wall stage
13. Do you remember your favorite gift? a plastic toilet that squirted water when you lifted the lid, I painted it green and my mother hated it :) and a doll that you could pull more hair out of the center of the head.
14. What's the most important thing about the Holidays for you? Living through them.
15. What is your favorite Holiday Dessert? cheese cake, pies, tiramasu
16. What is your favorite holiday tradition? reading stories each night before Christmas, Looking at lights "Christmas looking" while we're out driving we each pick an items (santa's wreaths and deer stars ect and whoever counts the most wins)
17. What tops your tree? A star I've had since I left childhood home.
18. Which do you prefer giving or receiving? Depends on who or what it is :)
19. What is your favorite Christmas song? Ama Maria
20. Candy Canes? Yeah, but I prefer Ribbon Candy best.
21. Do you feel Christmas is too commercialized? Beyond imagination!
22. What is your favorite Christmas movie? White Christmas
23. What do you want for Christmas? to be happily memorable, because I can't remember very many and our children will be leaving home in the next couple of years.
24: What would like to gain for this group ? CLOSENESS, I agree. Also, to feel like they have been a positive impact on one another, and get help when they need it.
25: How do you spend your New Years? WE stay up and see if we have survived another year :), Also each year my husband take stock to see if we are more financially secure than the previous years including if have more in our savings account than previous year.
