INTRODUCE YOURSELF LADIES!
So, I will begin.
I am Caity, mother of one beautiful baby gorl, Sadie. Sadie is 6 months on the 17th of Nov. She is growing so quick and is in the 80th percentile! I swear she looks so much older than she is.:( She just started noticing shadows and tonight I put on shadow puppet play for her. I think she almost peed her pants so was laughing so much. It was absolutely adorable.
I am a stay at home mom and I will be working out ofthe house soon. I just have to finda place that isn't a scam.
My days are spent cleaning and mostly playing with my little girl. I try to read to her as much as possible and help her with her motor skills. She is sitting up on her own now which is awesome. Now she can play by herself and self entertain for more then 5 minutes so I can get some me time in.
I love to read, shop, go on walks, write and talk over coffee. Right now I am looking for some mommy friends tohang with in the small town that I just moved to. I find it so strange that it's hard to meet people here. I am used to gabbing away with anyone, but here it's a little more conservative. Lots of old folk and artsy people here. Not that that is a bad thing, I consider myself to be artsy.
Anyways, I started this group for support from fellow mothers with babies of the same age, to make friends, maybe start a playgroup in a nearby town if not my own. I look forward to hearing from you all and remember to introduce yourselves so we can get this party started!
Ciao,
Caity

I am Kendra, SAHM of a little girl, Lorelai. She was just 4 months on the 13th and holding her own in height and weight! She has already doubled her birth weight! She is teething I think and sitting pretty well though I would not leave the room. She is quite skilled at grabbing toys and getting them to her mouth and she is generally easy going and can play alone for long periods of time...today, however, she is fussy and wants to be held! Also, she is very talkative! I also love to read (its what I do when I nurse), shop, and take walks. My daughter loves to be outside. Coffee is a favorite past-time too. I would love to be able to get together with other mothers too in my area. Adult companionship is very important. My husband is great but other women are necessary too! If you are in my area...let me know and maybe we can get something going!

My name is Rhonda. I am a 21 year old new SAHM. I have one daughter named Raina. She will be 3 months on Nov 24th. She is the love of my life. The only person I want to spend the rest of my life with. I love Josh, but I love Raina more! Josh and I are not married. And aren't really even talking about it. Right now we both just enjoy being individuals. A normal day for me consists of dishes, laundry, and daytime televison. I love talking to my baby. Right now she just makes noised and I engage in a one sided conversation with her. I cant wait untill she finds her voice. She is deffinately an early bloomer. She is already teething and trying to sit up by herself! I sing to her constantly. Usually just making up songs about how pretty she is and how silly her daddy is. It amazes me how attracted she is by bright lights and all the colors. Theres a two track on the side of our yard and we go walking down it every other day or so. She just loves to look around. Her favorite things right now are toys that sing and light up and her blanket. Shes so little and young but its wonderful how much of a personality she has already! I am deffinately looking forward to the years to come.

Hello everyone! My name is Elizabeth and I have a beautiful little girl that will be 6 months on Nov. 26. I am a SAHM and spend most of my days taking care of things around the house and taking care of Renae. She isn't sitting on her own yet...I don't think she even cares to try. She fine if I prop her up but if I set her somewhere like on the bed shes like 'whatever mom' and just falls to the side. LOL she'll get there soon enough. She just wants me to hold her up and help her stand all the time. Renae loves to be outside and usually loves to eat anything I put in front of her but for some reason the last two days she's only intereasted in milk. (I'm not sure what is going on with that).
I also love to read and drink coffee (de-cafe right now), as well as scrapbooking. I am also in a smaller town and haven't really been able to meet many people. Although I went to a mothers group the other day and joined so I have high hopes to meet some friends for me and Renae!

Hi, I am Bethany. I have a 7 month old daughter, Megan, that I stay home with. She has her daddy’s long eyelashes and she kicks her legs constantly (since birth).
She is quite a character, very active and lively, and so independent. She laughs a lot, and likes waving (her new skill). She is sitting great, babbling and growling (it’s a happy growl), and is trying to become mobile.
She loves games, being read to, being sung to, yanking on the cats’ whiskers (she thinks she’s petting them) and being outside.
She is a good eater, loves fruits and veggies and even meat, but dislikes baby cereals (not that I blame her, it tastes like paste)! But the thing she wants most, is whatever is on MOMMY’s plate at the time.
We recently moved back to CA after being out of state for 2 years. I love coffee, walking at the beach, shopping, and lots of other stuff… have a hard time meeting people even though I would love to!! It would be good for Megan to start having playdates with other babies as well-she is fascinated by other babies and young children.
looking forward to reading all the introductions!
~Bethany
